Bras get old. It happens. The hooks get bent out of shape, they fall off. The underwire starts to pop out at the top and stab you in uncomfortable places. The elastic gets worn and stretched beyond all recognition. The straps snap, the lace tears, the satin pulls. Bras get old and they fall apart.

Or maybe they just get boring. Maybe they cease to fit. Maybe you bought the most gorgeous set of matching bra and panties ever, only to find out they are supremely uncomfortable.

Do you have to throw them away? That’s an awful waste of money, right? Sure — if you throw them away. You don’t have to, though. There are tons of inventive things you can do which will allow you to keep your old bras around — and even some of your old panties, too!
