What do Football and Lingerie have in Common?

The Lingerie Bowl, of course. After a bumpy start, it appears as though The Lingerie Bowl will now move forward with some serious football under the Lingerie Football League. Recent tryouts for The Tampa Bay Breeze, bring the league up to ten teams including Dallas Desire, Phoenix Scorch, San Diego Seduction, Las Vegas Sin, New York Euphoria, Miami Caliente, Chicago Bliss, Atlantic Steam and Los Angeles Temptation.

Clad in lingerie and football gear, twelve to a team, the individual spots are highly sought after by doctors, lawyers, models, waitresses and all types of women looking for something to do. The exercise regime is rigorous and aside from the lingerie itself, which looks more like cheerleading uniforms, the women are not professional lingerie models in a photo shoot. They expect to play football, playing a ten game season, and will also play during halftime of the February 2009 Super Bowl.

This may be Fantasy Football to men who love to see lingerie clad women pretending to play sports, but the truth is to the thousands of women vying for limited spots, this is a serious proposition.
